Does ultrasonic waves affect the non-target organisms in shallow lakes?

Hi;

Dear all I am searching about the adverse effects of the new technology called "Ultrasonic", which is used to control and eliminate the algae bloom in lakes.

Does anyone have information or experience on this subject?

The lake information: shallow (3-8 meter), cyanobacteria bloom exist in lake, contains about 4 species of fish (useful fishes), about 33 species of birds (cormorant, gull, coot, ducks, and so on), and recreation activity is the main goal of the construction of this lake.

I would be more than happy if anyone tell me about this technology.
