Does two different strains of bacteria of same species could show different tolerance to pH and temperature?

I have identified two different strains of bacteria of same species, during my experiments i could also find the difference in tolerance of these bacteria in same pH and temperature. Is this normal for bacteria of different strains to show difference in tolerance of pH and temperature even though they belong to the same species or genera.
