Fever is protective against infections. Fever increases the innate immune-response. Fever also dampens the immune-response (via HSP's & NF-kB).

COVID-19 initially suppresses the innate immune-response. An Uncontrolled immune-response (cytokine storm) has a possible role in (severe) COVID-19-complications.

1) Does the mitigation of fever therefore increase the risk of (severe) COVID-19-complications?

2) Is it feasible to change the standard protocol (always treating fever) to a protocol where fever is not actively treated?
