a large number of sunscreens are being sold in the market which have an expiry date.
most of the sunsceens are just stable chemiclas which tend to react only with sun light.
what is the expiry date got to do with the sunscreen which is not exposed to sunlight.
will it affect potency will it cause acne or will it cause an extra reaction or will it not act as an effective sunscreen.

Most of the sunscreens are photostable meaning that even exposed to sunlight they are stable
The expiration date is link to the microbiology. The challenge test checks the efficacy of the preservatives. This test gives you the expiration date, no link with the UV filters
