I will like to find out if there is any empirical findings to suggest it the orientation of any advertisment has an influence on its effectiveness.

For example advertisements in large sizes has been found to be more attractive and could be more effective, also colour advertisments compared to black and white has been found to be more effective.

So if any advert is placed in portrait (following the pattern of the newspapers and magazine), would it be considered more appealing and effective compared to an advert is landscape? Or may be it makes no difference?
