So far, the solution vaccine makers and governments have proposed is to begin preparing updated versions of the existing vaccines that will prompt the immune system to make antibodies to the modified spike protein found in the new variants. https://www.google.com/amp/s/fortune.com/2021/02/19/covid-variants-kent-south-africa-universal-vaccine-coronavirus/amp/
As mutant COVID variants multiply, the hunt is on for a ‘universal’ kill-all vaccine. Some scientists think vaccines could be created that would stand up better to the dreaded South African variant, as well as other future strains. Not everyone agrees it’s possible. https://www.google.com/amp/s/fortune.com/2021/02/19/covid-variants-kent-south-africa-universal-vaccine-coronavirus/amp/
Arvind Singh Doc., appreciating what you have posted on Moderna's, however, I think it might be misleading esp to those who only read the captions and not interested in digesting the output further ...or with no scientific background knowledge. Worse still, the message saying Moderna's is all-immunocompetent against any strain is a conclusion in a hurry. In fact, I am not sure the authors confirmed that against the Brazilian's, even if done, what about the evolving mutants. Unfortunately, the study is still a preprint! On my observation so far, currently, no convincing data to suggest all COVID-19 strains are under control by the EUA's approved vaccines!
Note: This message is not to encourage the current vaccine hesitancy, not padding the anti-vaccinationsts' idea, it is a sole personal observation.
I do not believe that the vaccines provide significant protection. Some patients have been vaccinated but have then got severe COVID-19 a few days later. Part of the problem is the behavioural change in the people who have been vaccinated....
Dear Rajkumar Rajendram , Chinaza Godswill Awuchi , Arvind Singh , Kamoru A. Adedokun Another problem for vaccine efficiency against mutations is viral interaction with our microbiota or gut bacteria.Article Microbiota and Its Role on Viral Evasion: Is It With Us or Against Us?
When the bacteria are on our side they induce anorexia and reduce the availability of metabolites like Iron. see how essential iron is for viral pathogens
Article Viral infection and iron metabolism
When the bacteria are infected too they overproduce LPS and destabilize our immune system. Making it easier for the virus to make inroads.
This seems to be the case for covid19 and mutations Article Gut microbiota and Covid-19- possible link and implications
I know this will not be popular with pharmaceutical companies but from an iron perspective, there are much more efficient & cost-effective methods available than vaccines. I will publish as soon as possible my preprint based on Presentation Why the Conronavirus Craves Iron

Los ensayos clínicos demuestran q todas las vacunas son efectivas para todas las cepas de Covid 19 hasta el momento. Hay q mantenerse actualizado en el tema
The following link has discussed the topic entitled, "Moderna’s COVID-19 Vaccine Works Against the New Mutant Strains. Is That Enough?" Please have a look:
I think yes, many countries are combing between 2 vaccine types ( i.e taking one type in the beginning and another dose 20-30 days of the same type later then at 6 months taking another type) , and have found to have a more effective effect than one type only
The following study (yet to be peer reviewed) concludes that primary immunization with two Pfizer-BioNTech (BNT162b2) or Oxfor-AstraZeneca (ChAdOx1) doses provided no or limited protection against symptomatic disease with the Omicron SARS-CoV-2 variant (B.1.1.529). Boosting with BNT162b2 following either primary course significantly increased protection.
