Theorists have adopted the "boson carrier" mechanism when combining electromagnetic and weak interactions. But bosons in their structure do not have longitudinal inertness (see "Electromagnetic Gravity. Part 1" in my profile). But then the action of weak forces would be unlimited. Theorists have introduced a new “Higgs field,” which gives mass to leptons, quarks, W+, W- and Zo bosons (see figure).

The theory suggests that particles are born massless. But "without mass" - means "without energy" - doesn’t exist? The destructive colliding beam method was used to experimentally detect the Higgs boson. Don't you think that in a huge pile of fragments you can find anything?

The repulsive forces, and not attraction forces, manifest themselves in a weak interaction. Therefore, weak interaction has a different physical basis.
