In the past, there have been radical changes in societies after each epidemic. Do you think that radical changes in the education system can be expected after Covid 19? Or is it continued as before?
If the vaccine is accessible to all the people in the world, the system resumes. Otherwise, it has to be switched into virtual class rooms for teaching, assignments and evaluation.
Indeed there are changes this day, but depends on trends in morbidity and mortality of covid-19. What can be of spoken about education system from now is there will be diverging/varying/ system that is to be followed by different countries depending on their health, economy, accessiblity of technology etc.
With COVID-19, schools are rapidly changing the basic way they do their work. Some have become old-fashioned correspondence schools, with the vast majority of interaction happening by written mail. Others have tried to recreate the school setting online using digital tools like Zoom. Others are in-between, directing students to online tutoring and practice programs, and posting videos. Most people think that they just want to get things back to normal.
Modes of educational delivery and its credentials may change as an important part of education system. There may be a dearth of face to face education. Change in the mindset of teacher and learner may take place apart from many other changes.
E-teaching/learning would get popularity. Many of the courses of an academic program could be conducted through distance education. Tuition fees might have a restructuring after cost analysis.
The COVID19 forced to every one to change in their life style to survive where E-learning is one of the medium which helps to educate people in this pandemic situation.
Dear Berkay Çeli̇k, Yes, when the SARS-CoV-2 (Covid-19) coronavirus pandemic will expire, not all of the currently remote education processes via the Internet as part of e-learning will return to the traditional, classroom teaching formula. Most likely at lower levels of education, i.e. primary and secondary schools, most or all of the teaching process will revert to the traditional formula of teaching, i.e. full-time, face-to-face teaching in school buildings. On the other hand, in universities and universities some classes may remain in e-learning, so a hybrid teaching formula will be possible. Of course, the considerations are theoretical, because we do not know whether the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus pandemic will fully expire in the next few years.
