Does the dark J-V curve of bifacial thin film devices illuminated through both sides should always converge?

In my case, thicker devices (> 2μm ) sometimes do not converge when I illuminated from the front and Illuminated through the back. However, for thin devices, the dark J-V curve always converges. What could be the reason for this?
