Does Anyone have any knowledge, expertise, references relating to the pathways that might trigger the release of inflammatory cytokines to cause a generalised systemic Inflammatory picture in those afflicted by any Mitochondrial Disorders. There is an isolated Paper on TNF-alpha triggering the release of Ceramide which directly acts at and inhibits Complex III of OXPHOS. Preference for Human in vivo information.
