It's not clear to me who the AIM Group is but these kinds of intelligence, these human intellectual competences were described by Gardner:

1. linguistic intelligence (ability to use oral and written language effectively for communicative and expressive purposes);

2. logical-mathematical intelligence (ability to use numbers effectively and to handle skillfully long chains of reasoning);

3. spatial intelligence (ability to perceive the visual world accurately, to perform transformations and modifications upon one’s initial perceptions, and to be able to re-create aspects of one’s visual experience);

4. bodily-kinesthetic intelligence (ability to use one’s body in highly differentiated and skilled ways, for expressive as well as goal-directed purposes);

5. musical intelligence (ability to produce and appreciate pitch, rhythm and timbre in individual tones or phrases as well as to appreciate different forms of musical expression);

6. intrapersonal intelligence (ability to perceive one’s range of affects or emotions as well as awareness of one’s own strengths and weaknesses);

7. interpersonal intelligence (ability to notice and make distinctions among other individuals and, in particular, among their moods, temperaments, motivations, and intentions);

8. naturalist intelligence (ability to distinguish between members of the same species, to acknowledge the existence of related species, and to map the relations between several species).

Nowadays there are debates about some supplementary kinds of intelligence: spiritual intelligence, existential intelligence, and moral intelligence.

All this to try to explain, to identify the characteristics of natural intelligence beyond those global indicators like IQ or EQ.

In my opinion a kind of general definition of intelligence is: the ability to successfully cope with new situations. So if all these particular kinds of intelligence are necessary and sufficient then I agree with Howard Gardner.

As regards the influence of "Artificial Intelligence" over these kinds of "natural" intelligence I'm afraid it is quite the opposite: the aim of AI is to endow "mechanical" things with the "abilities" of the natural intelligence.

If you think if it is possible that the work to endow the artificial things with Artificial Intelligence could devise "mechanisms" (methods, algorithms, techniques) able to improve the natural intelligence by natural means or artificial supplements (some kind of implants), well it is possible. There is already, e.g., the biomedical discipline of Neuroprosthetics which tries to realize devices that can substitute a motor, sensory or cognitive modality; such a neural prosthetic implant clearly will improve the kind of intelligence which uses the corresponding sense (visual, auditory, etc.).

Like Virgiliu, t's not clear to me who the AIM Group is. The eight forms you refer to were conceptualized and described by Howard Gardner in 1985 in his book: The Theory of Multiple Intelligences. These forms are clearly described by our cooleague Virgiliu.

Nowadays there are other forms of intelligence, emotional intelligence (see D. Golman's work) and moral intelligence (see , J, Gibbs' work), for example. And the Suiss psychologist J. Piaget comceptualized your types of qualitative intelligence, practical, pre-operational, concrete operational and formal operational. There is also the psychometric intelligence, which attributes a given IQ ( e.g., =140) to a given individual.

AsI see it, the most agreed upon definition of intelligence is that espoused by J.Piaget, A. Einstein and S. Hawking, which I also espoused: The ability to adapt to changes in the environment.

It is now very much in vogue to speak of AI and AI machines, like computers, robots, and so on. To my understanding, AI machines are not intelligent at all for they only do what their human designers want them to so. To an extent, they are not able to bo beyond the information they receive from their producers or designers.

I am much in favor of Piaget's qualitative forms of intelligence because they assess not only overt performances but also the quality of reasoning underlying such performances.

Thank you for your question. We use Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs), a division of deep learning and artificial intelligence in the interpretation of radiological images (such as MRI scans, CT stances, mammograms, ultrasounds), endoscopy images (for example, gastroscopy and colonoscopy) and pathology images (histology images) to diagnose diseases and differentiate between pathological lesions and normal images. Currently, we are working on improving sensitivity and specificity and predictive values of these new techniques. CNNs are also used in the identification of faces (police use them when searching road cameras for a particular individual), we also use them in identifying voice signature and several other applications. This is a new and promising field in Medicine, Pathology, Radiology, Diagnosis of diseases, and several other areas.

Does Artificial Intelligence influence the eight forms of intelligence defined by specialists, and if so, how? First of all, any specialist claiming to have discovered or coined the "eight forms of intelligence" are, by understanding, are divided within their own judgement. Sigmund Freud was the closest to get to this, and he named what is somewhat in correlation here, the id, ego & super ego. By foundation, all of these topics are a form of Artificial Intelligence which may be traced back to Natural Artificial Selection, which has to do with geological history of lifeforms and such. So, outside of theoretical talk, no Artificial Intelligence can not, by the laws of nature, influence human intelligence, mainly because the premise of human intelligence is structured on the basis that the thing in question is the thing in observation, meaning that us, as Senior Scientists, know the beginning & the end of the thing. How? Well it is because we formulate, follow and, as well, implement what is known in the K-12 system as the Scientific 4 or the Scientific Method. It's as simple as that, quite frankly. So, no. Therefore, in theory, any conjecture to the natural language premise stated here is, in any way, a disregard for the laws of Science and thus would be in some form or fashion the attempt to influence with or without regard for the health of the human psyche. In that case, it wouldn't be called intelligence, it would be called, what has a full topology in Cognitive Science, a mental illness, which is precipitated by a respiratory, circulatory and/or the deterioration of the biophysiological system of a human being. Though this is an unfortunate thing for any human being, as well as living being, to face, Artificial Intelligence does play a role in this area, notably in the area of Genome Science and the engineering of biological medicines and also the drug discovery thereof. This is where Artificial Intelligence shines. In fact, the evolutionary theorist Darwin might be instructive here, scientifically speaking, if a human sub-region of a given society succumbs to the influence of an artificial kind of intelligence, then really what that kind of logic is saying to humanity is that Natural Selection is taking place and that its time to pick up a book and read. For the moment no, it may do it in the future. In that case it will be closer to our own intelligence then the actual artificial one.

Currently it has reached level 6 and 7. The last level will be soon, perhaps within the next 20 years. After that, AI will rise in their own with something like reenforcement learning plus full coordination among the species of their kinds. Remember, they don't need to be 10/10 at each level, coz they will evolve.

The evolution of technology innovations has made artificial intelligence play an increasingly important role in our life and economy, and its effects are found in different ways. Artificial intelligence can have a positive impact on our lives if global joint strategies are geared towards our well-being and well-being.
