I was testing the binding of my protein to different lipids on a membrane lipid strip (Echelon Biosciences Inc). In contrast to my predecessor I did not see any binding at a specific lipid (although I performed it in the same way).

The lipid strips however were stored for an undefinded period of time at RT (days to weeks, I guess), so I'm not sure if this could be the problem.

Did anyone of you have encountered a similar problem? Or do you think storing the strips at RT shouldn't be a problem and it's my protein that is acting weird?
