If conception does occur, do these factors (low testosterone levels, advanced age) or the resulting decline in sperm quality affect the development of the child—such as their health, cognitive abilities, or other characteristics? Or do these effects really only affect the success rate of fertilization without any lasting effect on the development of the baby?
