My group is having problems with tubes that are damaged by homogenization in a Bioruptor because of the action of organic solvent (butyl acetate) exacerbated by the mechanical force. Our tubes are scratched with the bead used for homogenization and we fear that plastic particles might end up in our tissue samples. Does someone know of the tubes that are resistant to this kind of damage? It would be very helpful!
