Does silver Ag electrode produce ohmic contact with diluted semiconductor materials DSM thin film ?

Normally one evaporate gold Au ,Cr ,Ni metals as electrode to produce ohmic contact with semiconductor materials. Can silver Ag do the same thing? If not, what is the reason?
