I want to perform LAS test on asphalt binder with Rheotest DSR but, unfortunately, after defining job and method in software in CD OSC manner, the test does not start. Whether this device performs only stress constant tests or not? How I can solve this problem?
What I know about DSR is that in the new ASSHTO TP 70-09 specification the Multi-Stress Creep and Recovery Test (MSCR) can be conducted. If this is any different from the stress-controlled setup then yes the DSR is capable of performing under different setups.
The DSR test can be developed in both stress-controled and frequency-controled, depending of the asphalt binder type and the test conditions (temperature basically).

I my self believe that Rheotest device cannot conduct strain control test needed for LAS. You can try Anton-Par for LAS test.
