I have some citations on Google Scholar, but they are not visible on RG. Is there any way to take this into account? Has anyone tried to solve such a problem?
As per my knowledge, RG only counts those cited papers which are uploaded on RG. if our paper is cited by a researchers who is not the part of RG; its citation will be visible on google scholar not on the RG.
No, there is no way to amend this. RG has been noted already for a strange and unreliable metrics. You have texts published on that, for instance at the LSE. I noted, and publicly protested against, the fact that they do not take into account e.g. the number of external reads (coming outside the RG) AT ALL while determining the Researcher Score. Etc. etc. This is all pretty fluid. Do not get too easily impressed by anything - do your work, and do not count recommendations and likes - the only real engagement is through a theory and by a two-three page peer-comment (without the use of algorithm); the rest is a mockery. With best wishes.
