I have 15-50nm of thin film copper evaporated on a glass substrate. I will do the resistance measurement of the copper at a fix temperature of 20 degree C. I would like to have a feedback on the variation of relative humidity (40% - 50%) towards the resistance value.
Hi Mohd Shahril Ahmad Khiar.The glass surface is covered by a molecular layer of water. The thickness of this layer changes as a function of relative humidity. if sample is not polished, you will have pores partially filed with water. Another possibility is that the adhesive conductor is influenced. You can try using conductive paste or other conductive adhesive.
Thank you for your response mohammad pouya ghaziani. I have deposit a thin layer of titanium between copper and glass substrate. Before that, I did clean my glass substrate using acetone and DI water.
you wash your substrate by suds,ethanol,methanol and isopropanol for 40 min.
