Could autoantibodies in organs (such as spleen, brain or gut) be released into the blood after death, due to changes (integrity breakdown) occurring after death, and thereby alter the levels of autoantibodies in blood? Are there any reports on an impact of postmortem delay on serum autoantibody levels in comparison to antibody levels in organs?
