I am doing an inheritance study of a recessive trait (by basic crossing experiments) with an insect that has  haploid diploid sex determination system. Where females are diploids and are produced only when a female parent mate with the male parent, therefore the females get their alleles from both parents. Males are haploid, and only inherit their alleles maternally. Doing my analysis based on Mendel's segregation ratio is not possible.

Any suggestion on the applicable analysis method for the crossing experiments, even statistically is highly appreciated.
