Hi.

I am looking for theoretical models within artificial intelligence that acquire, categorize, and utilize "perishable memories" (not data, but living information with a natural half-life or rate of [usable] decay. A temporal gravity/entropy model would be fine.). I see "Hierarchical Temporal Memory" by Hawkins and George, but I am looking for something more like Haikonen's work or Perlovsky's work (the "need" to know, and the tragedy of not being able to "know" anything predictively useful for long). Any help appreciated! -- Lonny
