I believe the answer is yes but the more difficult question is how. This can be partially due to the mechanism of action itself (being working partially on sodium channels). Phenytoin-Indices SIADH is another proposed mechanism as well. Interestingly with some paradox, phenytoin has been found to reverse hyponatremia induced by other sodium blocker AED, like carpamazipine.
