I want to examine emotion regulation strategies in a specific situations and mainly I want to examine what emotion regulation strategies are being used by people in these situations.

I was thinking originally that in-depth interviews will be the best option. I was suggested that I should use some widely used questionnaires as well. From all, I have found it seems most logical to use ERQ by Gross.

I am just not sure if it makes sense to mix in-depth interviews and ERQ in one study. From my understanding in-depth in qualitative and ERQ is a quantitative approach.
