R factor is parameter indicating the correctness for the structure solution. usually its should be less than 10 % and high value indicated unresolved issues with the structure. R value of 2 is indicating the unresolved issues like unassigned Q peak density, high disorder etc. Impurities has nothing to do with structural parameters like R factor, as either they would remain in the solution or be the past of crystal. Hope it would help.
