It misses the entire experience of color changing it into non visual academic discourse. —- Have you never looked at spring flower and been mesmerized by its color. Maybe you never were taught how to learn to “see” color. Please take the time to learn how learn about color. It can permeate the entire experience of life. If you nothing else spend some time playing with a child painting pictures (yes, I'm serious)
