I do not find more information about the fermented medium for a shikimic acid extract from the L. plantarum, but kind of all strains is the engineering-microorganism only that information can produce the Shikimic acid from the fermented medium, and the other ways were reported that L. plantarum can produce shikimic acid from the juice fermentation but in the juice solution already have the shikimic acid in the system also.
