I am using MRS media (for lactobacillus growth), containing peptone, yeast extract, meat extract, glucose, potassium phosphate, sodium acetate, magnesium sulfate, Manganese Sulfate, Tween 80 and ammonium citrate. I am performing colony PCR but no results appeared. So, is there any hindrance due to media components?
