KH Coder by Koichi Higuchi which is a content analysis software can be sued to create node colored data sets. The system outputs data nodes that are color coded and have dimensions of scale and distance as well. An article of mine deployed KH Coder for text analysis. For me it was a tool to create business models describing International HR. These models made use of textual inferences that connected student outputs to learning outcomes.
KH Coder is popular and has been used in at least 650 academic studies.
The study I've mentioned will come out directly in the ACBSP Region 8 Journal which is about business program accreditation. The study was well received as a conference paper in Barcelona, November 2015. Once it is released I'll list it here. Coding for Accounting is next.
that is nice, but my question is are there open datasets of colored networks in a sense that in the data there are 1. links among nodes 2. shared attributes among nodes. It is amazing how sparse are this types of datasets.
