I have been collecting data on CBFv using a Multigon Neurovision TCD machine. I am also collecting concomitant continuous beat to beat continuous blood pressure. On analyzing the data the CBF continuous average velocity signal seems a few seconds behind the BP data. Is it possible to find out exactly how much the CBFv average is delayed when is processed by the machine?
Interesting. We use Multigon's ROBOTOC2MD TCD system, our velocity peaks are concominant with heart rate, but we see cerebral flow velocity increase/decrease prior to mean arterial pressure increase/decrease, pretty much the opposite of what you are experiencing.
