I ran some DSC tests on liquid food products using TA DSC 250 to determine the freezing point. However, during cooling process, a looped peak was observed. How can I interpret such data?
Have a look at the valuable answers here https://www.researchgate.net/post/Does-anyone-know-why-my-DSC-peak-is-overlapping and https://www.researchgate.net/post/Why_looped_peak_at_supercooled_emulsion_DSC_is_happening_How_to_report_it_in_article
It has to do with the settings (of the x-axis) and/or possibly lowering the sample size.
Best regards.
PS. I enclosed your graph in jpg form as well since the emf file is less easy to open for those interested.
