I would be interested to know how wildfire influence on soil environment in forests (cf. OM, TN, CEC, AP, Al, pH, K+,Na+,Ca+,Mg2+, Soil class), especially after surface fire.
An interesting question. Most of the biological properties of soil are supposedly lost due to wildfire on account of loss of organic matter. Enrichment ofsilica , potassium , calcium and magnesium is possible. Likewise , loss of nitrogen and majority of phosphorous could be transformed as calcium phosphate are possibilities. Please read some manuscripts on changes in soil properties under slash and burn method of cultivation....
It might be helpful if you read about metaanalysis studies on the topic of forest fire effects on soil properties. There is a work that you can also read, I leave the link. https://doi.org/10.1016/j.ejrh.2017.07.006
I was planning to include the results of soil properties after the wildfire in this project, but we couldn't at the end due to the insufficient data of the control sites.
