I realize it is a long shot, but I would like to know if anyone has any experience with an antibody against porcine glutathion peroxidase 3? It would be nice to know if there is a quality antibody out there before I start randomly purchasing from various providers. We would use it for electrophoresis and immunofluorescence.
I use anti-GPX3 now... It's anti-bovine however I think it will work with porcine ass well. Tomorrow I will send you some details about this particular antibodies. They bound very good to GPX3 however they are not very specific. From the other hand I've made only one blot for while with anti-GPX3, so my protocol needs some improvements.
Check with biocompare.com. It is a search engine for many different types of products including antibodies. You can search according to species, secondary antibody, uses, etc. Has helped me a lot! Occasionally will have references from people that bought and used the antibody as well.
