I can only suggest searching for this topic in documents from California. It has been an issue there since the 1980s. Check the websites of California EPA and its toxicology agency.
There are a number of such studies available on the Internet (try google with search: eia "transmission line"). I would suggest that you try to identify EIAs linked to the region in which your own specific case is found as well as considering if there is a supporting organisation behind as sometimes there are specific guidelines in concern to how to carry out EIA and ESIAs.
Yes at Dr. Mathias, here in Nigeria there is specific guideline as per the legal framework known as the EIA Act. And the supporting organization as National Environmental Standards and Regulations Enforcement Agency (NESREA) formerly Federal Environmental Protection Agency (FEPA). Thanks for your contribution
It i very simple question for our EIA practices. We used EIA tool for all developmental projects, Transmission line is major among them. It cause heavy terrestrial impacts on flora and fauna especially animal habitat and bird species. Our country have 42000MW capacity of hydro-power projects but we have succeed to produce approximate 600mw runof river projects. all needs have transmission lines 156, 266, or 512kva which have necessarily need to conduct EIA studies. Our environmental regulation is strict for such projects and strongly documented such projects.
