I am looking for a questionnaire which is given to adults to assess their childhood attachment style based on retrospective recollection. The tool needs to be quantitatively oriented such as a self report questionnaire which can be easily scored. Basically, I am looking for a self report version of the AAI (adult attachment interview) which is more time efficient and easier to score.

The Adult Attachment Interview is the gold standard, but requires training to administer & interpret. The adult self-report instruments, to the best of my knowledge, focus on current attachment patterns, unfortunately.
The Adult Attachment Pictures/Projectives were designed by Carol George (coauthor on the AAI) and takes about 15-20 mn to administer. Butmust be scored by someone trained. Of course, both the AAI and the AAP are retrospective-based.
There is no, no well-validated "self-report" attachment questionnaire. Check the literature such as the SRCD monographs by Waters and Bretherton.
Findings from both studies support the psychometric adequacy of the LAAS as an alternative measure of attachment security for use with older adult samples. (PsycINFO Database Record:

This questionnaire was not validated against any well-validated measure of attachment (neither the AAI nor the AAP).
It calls itself valid, but is not validated empirically.
I would say that there is some preliminary validation of the LAAS bc it has a modest correlations with the ECR-S and some structural coherence. However, it does not address the original question since it does not assess retrospective evaluations of childhood attachment. Additionally, this preliminary validation is only for adults aged 65 years and older. So I doubt that it would be even remotely appropriate.
