"To the 1 g of pyrrole (PY), 5.8 g of sodium para-toluene sulfonate (PTSNa) as dopant (corresponding to a molar ratio PTS/PY = 2) was dissolved in 25 ml of glycerol. With
75 ml of glycerol 2.5 equiv. of FeCl3 (6.05 g) was prepared and added drop wise in to the pyrrole PTSNa glycerol mixture for 10 min. The reaction was carried out at different temperatures (0 ◦C and 50 ◦C) for 1 h with constant stirring. After reaction time, the black solid was filtered, washed with water and dried under vacuum at 50◦C "
