Dear Shamara, it is not very clear what the exact context of your question is - do you want to react the ester with the nitrile (understood you are a material scientist) - do you want the ester stabilize for a night or a weekend to conduct subsequent reactions ?

Stabilising can also be achieve by NOT adding the base and nitrile untill it is really required.

I need to react the ester with nitrile. But have doubt on the stability of the ester when it kept for a period for the purpose of maturation .
