Does anyone know how to resuspend 5,7 dihydroxytryptamine hydrobromide?

Hi! I need to perform 5-HT neurons lesion and we bought 5,7 dihydroxytryptamine hydrobromide (Sigma SML2058, 5mg). For 5,7DHT brain injection I have to resuspend the compound in 1% ascorbic acid in 0.9% saline. I already added 3.5ml of the solution to the 5mg (having in this way 1mg/ml free base) but I still have a lot of precipitate. Datasheet claims a solubility of 2mg/ml in water. Does anyone know if 5,7 dihydroxytryptamine hydrobromide it is not soluble in 1% ascorbic acid in 0.9% saline directly?
