Does anyone know how to pulse the shutter on a Bruker D8 ADVANCE XRD?

I need an X-Ray source to excite a scintillator crystal at various angles of incidence to test the photon emission efficiency of the crystal using my UV detector. I am mainly interested in measuring the photodetector's response time to photon emissions from the scintillator. I thought to use the XRD source as it already has a tilt stage and goniometer, which is exactly what I need. Could this work?
