UDF, user-defined function is a function that you program that can be dynamically loaded with the FLUENT solver to enhance the standard features of the code. UDFs are written in the C programming language.

If you are using VOF model, you can input the mixture velocity. And if you are using Mixture model, individual velocity profile can be used. An example UDF is attached herewith.

It is better to use open-form than fluent while simulating the multiphase flow because open-form is more flexible than fluent.
