We need help from the community working with schistosomiasis serology: we are trying to purchase commercial serology kits but that is not an easy task: either we do not get return from commercial companies or the price is abusive (like the ELISA-Novatec: aprox US$ 286/ 96plate!!). We tried to contact the suppliers of ELISA kits that were used in the comparative evaluation published by Kinkel et al. 2012. We have 460 serum samples stored to compare molecular methods performace with the very sensitive egg-detection Helmintex.

I guess, the list price is nearly the same as you mentioned above, but maybe you will get some bulk discount.
