Please provide references to papers in which alpha-synuclein concentration is estimated or to papers in which a suitable method to quantify protein concentration in neurons is applied.
Thanks for the answer. I had a quick look to the paper, but I could not find a precise estimate of alpha-synuclein concentration in neurons. Could you provide this number?
Anyway, I will read it more carefully during the week end and I will look also at the Supplementary materials. Thanks again.
Thank you very much for the reference. I had a look at the reference provided in the paper you cited and it seems that this estimate comes from western blot analysis or something like that. I think that this is not the best method to evaluate alpha-synuclein concentration in neurons. But this result is what can be found in the literature. Therefore, thank you very much for your reply.
Should you send me the paper please i dont have account and i need to read it as i am running a model of PD with rotenon now. and have a problem as i have a high mortality rate with 1.5mg/kg rats PEG:DMSO 1:1
How about the kinases involved in Alzheimer's Disease? GSK3-B, CDK-5, ERK, JNK, DYRK, etc.? I would love to know their concentrations and cannot seem to find them listed for an average neuron vs. a disease neuron.
