Hello, I'm looking for as many references as possible on sexing and ageing handprints and hand stencils in Paleolithic cave art.
If there are some other aspects of physical biometry etc. of handprints and hand stencils, please share.
Dale Guthrie in "The Nature of Palaeolithic Art" plots some measures of Palaeolithic hand stencils in relation to modern male, female and adolescent hand measurements.
