We're looking for a low coast but useful spin coater with gas and vacuum inlet and a programmable UV lamp with 30-50 mW/cm2 power density for microfluidic applications. However, prices are over than that we estimated. We have budgets about 5000 euros for spin coater and 8000 euros for UV lamp. I would be very pleased if someone suggests lower coast but proper instruments.

We use a UV tool designed for UV cured adhesives (Novacure). If you put a 365nm long pass filter in it you can even use it for SU-8. Laurell spinners are fine, but I find them hard to clean compared to just about everything else on the market. We have six of them in our labs. Spinning is such a simple process that you can pretty much use anything that has good repeatability. If you are using SU-8, look for something easy to clean.
