Hi friends, I recently analyze my active lipid fraction and found a broad 31P NMR around -10 to 0 ppm and a small peak around -20 ppm. Both peaks appear when I run Proton coupling and De-coupling 31P. If you guys have experience with these kinds of peaks, I would like to appreciate your opinion regarding this matter.

I am definitely not a PL expert, ...but -20 ppm sounds strange to me!
What we often use with nice results is 1H-31P correlated 2D NMR by use of HXY-Mixing (see e.g. Article 1 H− 31 P CPMG-Correlated Experiments for the Assignment of ...
)But a 1H-31P HMBC might do as well.
One question: do you have indication that your 31P signals are decoupled if decoupling is applied (meaning that the phosphori are protonated in their environment)

It will be better to select +20 to -20 ppm range for 31P nuclei and increase number of scans to 2048 then you will get clear peak (s) and let, me know if there is any issue?
