I would like to conduct research with refugees who speak Arabic. I have the BSI-18, PTGI, PANAS, RSES, and SWL along with their psychometric properties for Arabic speaking peoples. If someone has translated-backtranslated and centered the PCL-5 and CES then I can use them; if not, I need to do so. I cannot find publications. Are there any conference proceedings or contacts with whom I can talk? Thank you for your help.

Unfortunately I'm not replying with any answers, just found your question when I was looking for the same thing myself, PCL-5 in Arabic. Curious if you have found anything or started the translation work yourself?
There's a tradition in transcultural psychiatry to use the Harvard Trauma Questionnaire (HTQ), which has been translated into Arabic and a wealth of other languages. However, the HTQ has not been updated to reflect DSM-5 symptoms, and there is no clear indication that such an update is underway. I would be grateful to hear from you if you find an Arabic translation of the PCL-5. I think the reason the HTQ has gained such foothold, is that it was launched in '92, one year ahead of the PCL and PDS. Also, the HTQ includes other items that do not correspond directly to the diagnostic criteria. However, most studies do not use these additional items, so using a PCL should be fully sufficient.

I am also searching for PCL-5 in Arabic. I found one translation (linked) but I am not sure about its reliability and it does not cover the extended version.
Are you aware of any other translations available at the moment? I would be grateful for any information.
