Thank you for your kind response. I need a tunable Ω-resonator for NV center ODMR experiments at ~2.87 GHz. so I need a design that is moderately broadband, tunable, and easy to drive.

The antenna should resonate near 2.87 GHz with about ±100–150 MHz tuning range (using an IDC or NP0 trimmer capacitor). A 50 Ω feed with edge-SMA is required, with S11 < –10 dB around the operating frequency. The Q factor can be moderate (≈30–80) so it is not too narrow for first tests.

I plan to use Rogers RO4350B/RO4003C (0.8–1.6 mm, 1 oz Cu) with a solid ground plane. The Ω loop diameter ~18–22 mm, trace width ~1.5–2 mm, and a mouth gap ~1–1.5 mm are good starting points, but I trust your optimization. A uniform B₁ field across ~10 × 10 mm at ~1 mm above the board would be ideal for my samples.

Power input will begin at 0.1–0.3 W, but the layout should safely handle up to 1 W CW.

I need Gerber file and an S11 plot and a quick field estimate at 1 mm above the board would also be very helpful.
