From my own experience you can try inducing EAE in H2-r expressing B10.RIII mice with MBP protein or the immunodominant MBP peptide 89-101. It will produce a chronic progressing, relapsing disease. For details on the experimental protocol please consider
I used C57Bl/6J mice to study EAE in my old lab, but we used myelin oligoglycodendrocyte protein peptide 35-55. When using this you will achieve a progressing disease approximately 14 days after immunization . We also gave pertussis toxin ip day 0 and 2 to make the BBB more permeable . Be aware that there is no 100% incidence in any experiment so some mice will have to be boosted or thrown out .
