Dear all, I am trying to classify crop type from time series sentinel-1 (SAR) using Envi 5.1. 1. How do I use both polarisation(VV, VH) in the classification process? 2. how do I select the SAR image training samples suitable for the classification approach using SAR? Any help is highly appreciated. Thanks very much!
Dear Raj Kumar,
First you process sentinel data in SNAP toolbox.
Then Export as GeoTIFF format.
And then you open GeoTIFF image in ENVI software. Load both bands (select RGB mode).
Right click on Image window, Region of Interest tool is there, then draw training samples from the image.
Then classify the image with Region of Interest .
Support Vector Machine is one of the best classification method. so you try it.

Hi, use from SNAP, it have many toolbox to SAR data analysis and classification. SNAP is not user friend but i don't think you have any other choice
