Perez transposition model is frequently used in horizontal to tilt irradiance conversion. Once the global horizontal irradiance (GHI) and diffuse horizontal irradiance (DHI) are measured, the irradiance on an arbitrary tilted plane can be approximated. The converse problem, i.e, conversion from tilt to horizontal, is however less described in the literature. The difficulty is owing to the non--injective mapping between GHI and DHI. .
