I am finding a increase in Trichoderma and Aspergillus population in our contamination records of tissue culture production. Despite of regular fogging of ulv fumigants, strong formaldehyde based fumigant, silver hydrogen peroxide, chlorinated vapours etc, I could not reduce the percentage of incidence. Can anyone suggest me a active ingredient specific for these species?
Check the filters of Laminar Flow bench, must be disinfect.

Are you sure that the problem is due to contaminated surfaces of devices and facilities (walls, shelves, benches, etc.)?
In plant tissue culture to maintain the aseptic conditions weekly once or fortnight fumigation for 24 hr. is required .... in your question its was mentioned that you have been dealing with Trichoderma & Asperigillus fungal sp. they are predominant fungal contaminants as per tissue culture concern, as per my observations we are successful in our laboratory studies in tissue culture for fumigation formulation ..... chloroform + methanol+charcoal(1:1:1 ratio of gr/lt ) are placed in equal proportions as many no. of jars (depend on space of the lab) should kept for 24 to 36 hr initially for every fortnight in a regular time intervals will give the positive effective on the contaminants.

You must check the filter of laminar flow, must be disinfected. if your cabinet airflow is fine, disinfect it with ethanol(alcohol) 70%. make sure that all material are disinfect before you start your culture. your plant material must be free of contamination that means you must use the good fungicide to disinfect your plant material.
